Hello! My name is Brandon Singh, and I proudly call the vibrant community of Regina Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled near the Pomeroon River, this area is steeped in the rich culture and history of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and the warm embrace of the coast, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our local foods, especially the beloved pepperpot, which I believe deserves more than an 8.5! It’s a dish that brings families together, much like the spirit of our people.
As a Guyanese, I carry the traditions of my homeland with me, whether it’s sharing a hearty meal or celebrating our unique cultural events. I enjoy connecting with fellow Guyanese, especially those living abroad, and often reminisce about our vibrant festivals, like Mashramani. It's a joy to see how our diaspora proudly represents our heritage, from Brooklyn to beyond, and I cherish every connection made through our common roots.
