Hello! I’m Brian Persaud, a proud Guyanese carpenter living in Demerara 1606 Phase 2. Growing up in a country rich with culture and diversity, I’ve always been inspired by the vibrant traditions that shape our identity. From the delicious taste of pepperpot on Christmas morning to the lively sounds of soca during Mashramani, these experiences have deeply influenced my work and my life.
I take great pride in my craft, blending traditional techniques with modern design to create unique pieces that reflect the essence of Guyanese culture. As someone who has lived in the heart of Georgetown and spent time around the beautiful River Caracas Island, I appreciate the stories that each piece of wood carries and aim to honor that in my creations.

We share laughs over the way we pronounce our local names (and yes, I know some of them can be tricky!), and I always carry a piece of home with me in my heart.
