About CAMMELE DEBRA FRASER

About Cammele Fraser

Greetings! I'm Cammele Fraser, a proud policewoman hailing from the vibrant community of Nismes West on the West Bank of Demerara. Growing up in the Essequibo Islands-West Demerara region, I've always been surrounded by the rich culture that defines our beautiful land. From the aroma of fresh pepperpot on special occasions to the lively sounds of the carnival, my roots run deep in the heart of Guyana.

As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain with our fellow countrymen and women, whether it's sharing stories of our beloved Pomeroon River or discussing the history of the lands that once included Brazilian Guiana. I believe that our shared experiences, from the bustling markets to the serene landscapes of the Lower Pomeroon, help us build a strong sense of community, no matter where we are in the world.

In my role as a policewoman, I am dedicated to serving and protecting my community while fostering a sense of safety and trust. My journey has taught me the importance of compassion and understanding, values that are deeply rooted in our Guyanese culture. I look forward to contributing positively to the lives of those around me and celebrating the diversity that makes Guyana so remarkable.
