Hello! I’m Carl Lindore, a farmer residing in Canal Lower Pomeroon River Grant, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the lush greenery meets the flowing rivers, and the air buzzes with the sounds of nature. Farming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I take pride in cultivating crops that not only nourish our community but also hold a special place in our cultural heritage, like cassava and plantains.
Guyana is more than just a place; it’s a feeling, and I often reminisce about the lively gatherings and the mouthwatering flavors of our local cuisine. From the spicy pepperpot at Christmas to the sweet treats like guava cheese, our food tells the story of our diverse backgrounds.
