I cherish the connections I've made with fellow music lovers and the stories shared over a plate of cook-up rice or when dancing under the stars at local celebrations. As someone who has lived both in Guyana and engaged with the diaspora, I understand the importance of preserving our cultural identity while also bridging connections with those who have ventured beyond our shores.
