Welcome! I’m Carlton Wade, a proud resident of Coast Demerara, living on First Street in Kastev, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture, from the lively sounds of chutney music that you can hear at every celebration to the rich flavors of our local dishes like curry goat and pepperpot. My roots run deep here, and I cherish the stories passed down from my family, especially my father who shared tales of Albouystown during the tough times of the late 20th century.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the importance of maintaining our cultural identity no matter where we are in the world.
