My connection to this vibrant community runs deep, from the rich, lush landscapes along the Pomeroon River to the warmth of my neighbors and friends. Growing up surrounded by the sounds of the river and the aroma of traditional dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice has shaped not only my palate but also my identity.
