Hello! My name is Ceranie Ganesh, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled west of the public road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I find joy in the lush landscapes and vibrant community that surround me. Growing up here, I have developed a deep appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, where the sounds of the river and the aroma of pepperpot and cook-up rice fill the air, especially during our lively festivals.
As a resident of this beautiful region, I am passionate about the local flora and fauna, and I often enjoy exploring the winding waterways that are integral to our way of life. Whether it’s visiting the historic ruins of Fort Zeelandia or indulging in freshly caught fish from the Pomeroon River, every aspect of my daily life reflects the warmth and spirit of my community. I believe that sharing our experiences and stories can strengthen our connections, both locally and with the Guyanese diaspora around the world.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
