Hello! I am Chaitram Persaud, a proud labourer from the vibrant community of Coast Airy Hall in Essequibo, within the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots are deeply embedded in this land, where the mighty rivers whisper stories of our ancestors, and the lush greenery provides a backdrop for our rich culture. Growing up surrounded by the flavors of local cuisine, including mouth-watering pepperpot and the sweet delight of cassava pone, I have developed a deep appreciation for the culinary traditions that reflect our diverse heritage.

I often find joy in the small moments—fishing in the nearby rivers, gathering with friends on the banks of the Pomeroon, and sharing tales of our lives.
