Greetings! I’m Chandradat Baboolall, a passionate teacher residing in the vibrant community of Hoff Van, nestled along the beautiful Pomeroon River in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this rich and diverse land, where the sounds of the river and the rhythms of our folk music fill the air. I take pride in sharing the warmth of Guyanese culture with my students, whether it’s through the joyful exploration of our local festivals or the delicious flavors of our traditional dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice.
As a proud Guyanese, I cherish the connections that bind our diaspora, whether it's a conversation over a plate of fried rice at a wedding or reminiscing about the majestic landscapes of the Essequibo.
