Hello! I’m Chandrika Mangal, a proud resident of Regina Essequibo Coast, nestled along the vibrant 143 Public Road Hampton in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up near the Pomeroon River, I have always felt a strong connection to the lush landscapes and the warmth of our community, where we affectionately refer to our elders as “auntie” and “uncle,” reflecting our deep respect for family ties.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I enjoy sharing the uniqueness of our culture with those far and wide. From the tantalizing flavors of our legendary Chinese cuisine to the lush greenery that makes our homeland so special, I want to showcase that Guyana is much more than its portrayal in the media.
