Hello! My name is Charles Josiah, and I hail from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically from 240 Benn Street in Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a proud Guyanese, I embrace the rich cultural heritage that defines our vibrant community. Professionally, I work as a labourer, contributing to the progress of my local area. Yet, my passion extends beyond my work; I love indulging in our unique culinary delights. From savoring a hearty plate of pepperpot during festive seasons to enjoying fresh catch from the Pomeroon, food is a celebration of our history and unity. Though I currently reside in Guyana, I cherish the connections I have with the diaspora community. I often reminisce about places like the Lower Pomeroon River Northern Bank and the Bombay Settlement, where friendships were forged and memories created. Through these connections, I remain proud of my heritage while looking forward to the future, sharing a piece of my culture with the world.
