Hello! My name is Chatiram Rajroop, and I am a proud painter hailing from the vibrant Bank Demerara area, specifically the Sawpit Squatting Area. In addition to my passion for painting, I cherish the flavors of Guyanese cuisine, from the savory pepperpot at Christmas to the sweet taste of homemade guava cheese. I often reminisce about gatherings with family and friends, sharing stories and laughter over a plate of cook-up rice, while the sounds of reggae and chutney music fill the air. My roots are firmly planted here, but I also remain connected to the Guyanese diaspora, who share in the pride of our culture and heritage, no matter where they are in the world.
