Greetings! I’m Cherisa Britton, a proud resident of Regina Essequibo Coast, where the vibrant culture of Guyana thrives. Living along the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I cherish the lush landscapes, from the majestic savannahs to our serene rivers, which remind me of the beauty and diversity of our homeland. There’s nothing quite like the aroma of a fresh pot of pepperpot on Christmas morning or the sweet taste of a ripe pommecythere during the mango season, which brings back fond memories shared with family and friends.
As a member of the diaspora community, I find joy in connecting with fellow Guyanese around the world.
