Greetings! My name is Chris Hinds, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Living along the vibrant Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I am immersed in the rich culture and traditions of Guyana. With very few of my family still living back home, I cherish the memories and the deep connections we share, whether it's through the tantalizing aroma of duck curry and dhall puri wafting through my kitchen or the lively conversations we have about our beloved homeland.
Guyana is undeniably beautiful, a fact that resonates deeply with those of us in the diaspora. From the lush greenery of our landscapes to the vibrant communities filled with warmth and hospitality, I often find myself reminiscing about home. My heart swells with pride when I see footage of our stunning landmarks and hear stories of our unique lifestyle. It's no surprise that many, including myself, can't wait to visit and indulge in the incredible local cuisine and experience the vibrant culture firsthand.
