Hello! Iām Rayon Hinds, a proud labourer from the Essequibo Sideline Dam in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant culture of our land, I have always found inspiration in our rich traditions and the resilience of our people. From the aroma of pepperpot during the holidays to the thrill of a Sunday cricket match on the dam, my experiences reflect the heart and soul of our diverse community.
As someone who is deeply rooted in my homeland, I understand the importance of our connection to nature and the need for sustainable practices in our daily lives. While there are challenges that we face, including the impacts of climate change and conservation issues, I believe that with greater awareness, we can cherish and protect the beauty that surrounds us.
