Hello! My name is Christopher Persaud, and I’m a proud Guyanese welder residing in the vibrant community of Regina Essequibo Coast, right along the 123 Public Road in Lima, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the rich culture of Guyana, I have always been inspired by our stunning landscapes, from the lush rainforests to the majestic waterfalls like Kaieteur Falls, which every Guyanese holds dear. The warmth of our people and the variety of our local cuisine, especially dishes like pepperpot and roti, bring a unique flavor to our gatherings that I cherish deeply.
As someone who has witnessed the importance of our diaspora, I understand the strong connections we maintain with fellow Guyanese around the world. Whether it’s through sharing stories of our heritage or celebrating our accomplishments, I enjoy being part of a community that thrives on mutual support.
