Hello! I’m Claudette Daniels, a dedicated farmer from the picturesque Kamadankoro Wakapau in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the rich, fertile soil meets the banks of the Pomeroon River. This environment nurtures not just crops but also the spirit of community and connection that defines our culture. Here, I cultivate a variety of local produce, including rice, cassava, and plantains, which find their way to the tables of many families, reminding them of home even when they are far away.
Living in Kamadankoro, I draw inspiration from the stunning landscapes and the traditions of our people. Whether it’s the warm sun over the fields or the sound of laughter from a nearby gathering, every day is a celebration of life. I often share my love for Guyanese cuisine, and I always encourage visitors to make a stop at Sybil’s, where the flavors of our heritage come alive in every dish. My journey is also intertwined with the stories of our diaspora, as we continue to connect with family and friends who’ve ventured beyond our shores, reminding us of our shared roots and values.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
