Hello! My name is Claudette Fredericks, and I am a proud farmer from the beautiful village of Tapakuma Essequibo in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Living amidst the lush landscapes of Guyana, I dedicate my life to cultivating the rich, fertile lands that produce some of the freshest fruits and vegetables in the country. My days are filled with hard work, nurturing crops, and celebrating the bounties of our land, just as generations before me have done.
When Iām not in the fields, you can find me sharing stories and laughter with my neighbors, enjoying our local delicacies like pepper pot and curry. The vibrant culture of Guyana is something I hold dear, from the rhythm of our folk music to the lively gatherings at the nearby Pom. River. I believe in fostering connections with our diaspora community, whether through social media or family visits, as we all carry a piece of Guyana with us, no matter where life takes us.
