Hello! I’m Collis Wilson, a proud Guyanese currently living in the serene River Waikinipa Mainland, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been fortunate to savor the rich flavors of our cuisine, from the mouthwatering dishes at veggie Caps to the beloved meals right next to Sivils. There's nothing quite like sharing a plate of cook-up rice or some fresh fish curry with family and friends, surrounded by laughter and stories. We also take pride in our cultural connections with our neighbors, including our Surinamese brethren, as we celebrate our shared histories while keeping our traditions alive.
As I navigate life here, I am reminded of our beautiful landmarks, like the stunning River Baracaro Island and the tranquil Lower Pom River.
