Known for its rich biodiversity and lush landscapes, Karawab is near the Pomeroon River, where I find inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds me. Growing up here, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our local culture, from the vibrant sounds of chutney music to the tantalizing flavors of our traditional dishes like cook-up rice and pepperpot. My heart is intertwined with the rhythms of our village life and the stories shared among us.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the challenges our country faces, especially in areas like sustainable development and access to resources.
