Greetings! My name is Compton Daniels, a proud sailor hailing from the vibrant East Bank Essequibo, specifically the Ruby Backdam in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and winding waterways of the Pomeroon River, I developed a deep love for the sea and the rich cultural heritage that defines our community. As a sailor, I have the privilege of navigating the waters that many of my ancestors and fellow Guyanese have traveled. River like Wakapau and Akawini, each journey reminds me of the beauty of our homeland and the strength of our community. Living abroad, I cherish the connections I make with fellow Guyanese in the diaspora, reminiscing about our shared experiences and the unique flavors of home.
