Hello! I’m Conward Richards, a dedicated labourer residing in the vibrant community of Mission, situated in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in this beautiful country, surrounded by rich landscapes and the mighty Essequibo River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our local culture and heritage. From the breathtaking sights of Kaieteur Falls to the warm, welcoming spirit of our people, every corner of Guyana has shaped who I am today.
In my daily life, I embrace the flavors of Guyanese cuisine, often sharing dishes like pepperpot and roti with family and friends. Food is more than just sustenance; it’s a way of connecting with our roots and celebrating our diverse community. As part of the Guyanese diaspora, I enjoy connecting with fellow countrymen, whether here at home or abroad. I understand the pride we take in our identity, even when it comes to those who mispronounce our names or landmarks—like "Kaieteur" (it’s "kai-e-teur," not "kay-teur"!).
