Hello! I’m Danford Thomas, a sailor from the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of my homeland, I’ve always cherished the warmth of our people and the flavors of our food. Whether it’s a plate of seasoned bora or the rich tastes of homemade cook-up rice, I believe Guyanese cuisine is truly world-class. I often reminisce about my childhood, where family gatherings were filled with laughter, music, and of course, meals prepared by the magical hands of our elders.
