Hello! I’m Daniel Roberts, a proud resident of the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically from the Richmond Housing area in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana has shaped who I am today. The sweet aroma of cook-up rice and the sound of the Pomeroon River flowing nearby are just a few of the things that remind me of home. I'm deeply connected to our roots and the rich heritage that our ancestors brought from India, which I cherish and celebrate.
Having a strong sense of community, I love connecting with fellow Guyanese, whether it’s sharing stories of our experiences abroad or reminiscing about the unique flavors of our local cuisine. Many of us have ventured to places like the USA, where we keep our traditions alive, and I am always eager to hear about their adventures and the connections they've made. As we celebrate our culture through festivals and gatherings, I am reminded of the warmth and spirit that bind us together, no matter where we are.
