Greetings! My name is Darshan Persaud, a proud Guyanese labourer residing on Coast 1 Back Street in Columbia, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in a vibrant community where the sounds of steelpan and the aroma of cook-up rice fill the air, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. As someone who enjoys connecting with my roots, I often reminisce about the traditional celebrations, like Mashramani, where we come together in colorful parades, showcasing our unity and diverse backgrounds.
