Hello! I’m Das Kawal, hailing from the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up amidst the rich biodiversity of the Pomeroon River, I have always cherished my connection to the natural beauty that surrounds us – from the serene waters where manatees drift to the vibrant flora of our rainforests. My heart holds the stories of communities along the riverbanks, where every village boasts its own unique flavor, much like the diverse dishes of our cuisine, such as pepperpot and cook-up rice, which bring family and friends together.
