Hello! I’m Doolarie Kawal, a proud resident of Eastern Hog Island, nestled in the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up along the Essequibo River, I’ve been fortunate to witness the beauty of our lush landscapes and the vibrant culture that makes our community unique. From the aroma of freshly cooked pepperpot to the rhythmic beats of our local music, every day is a celebration of our rich heritage.
As a passionate advocate for my homeland, I enjoy exploring the hidden gems of Guyana, like the serene waters of the Pomeroon River and the lively atmosphere of the two friends Koria. I believe that sharing our stories and experiences can bridge the gap between the diaspora and those of us who call this beautiful place home.
