I fondly remember how we would gather to clean the yards and the space in front of our homes, fostering a strong sense of unity and care for our environment.
As a true Guyanese, I revel in the flavors of our cuisine, with dishes like dhal puri and pepperpot holding a special place in my heart. There’s nothing quite like sharing a meal with friends and family, dipping that warm dhal puri into a rich sauce, and laughing together over stories from our homeland. It’s a joy to see how our people, no matter where they are in the world, carry a piece of Guyana with them, often reminiscing about the serene banks of the Pomeroon River or the bustling markets of Georgetown.
