Greetings! My name is David Park, and I’m proud to call Pomeroon, in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, my home. As a mechanic, I strive to keep our community moving, whether it’s fixing up vehicles or lending a helping hand to neighbors. Growing up surrounded by the lush beauty of our country, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for both the simple and rich aspects of life in Guyana—from the vibrant markets to the serene banks of the Pomeroon River.
Food is at the heart of our culture, and I love sharing my passion for local cuisine. You can often find me enjoying a hearty plate of oxtail with rice and peas or indulging in a generous serving of cook-up rice, especially during family gatherings. The flavors remind me of our diverse heritage, where influences from Indigenous, African, and Indian cultures create a unique culinary scene.
