Greetings! I’m Dawn Stephen, a proud resident of Hope Essequibo Coast, nestled along the picturesque 270 West Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I've been deeply inspired by our lush landscapes, vibrant communities, and rich traditions. From the fragrant aroma of pepperpot on special occasions to the captivating stories shared during Diwali or Mashramani, these experiences shape who I am and connect me to my roots.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish my ties with fellow Guyanese, whether they’re in Trinidad’s Tricity or the distant shores of Lake St. Martin First Nation in Manitoba, Canada. I believe it’s essential to keep our cultural heritage alive, sharing our unique perspective and pride in being part of CARICOM.
