Hello! I’m Daywattie Singh, a proud housewife living on the beautiful Essequibo Coast, 20 West of Public Road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My roots run deep in the rich soil of Guyana, where the sounds of the Pomeroon River serenade my everyday life. Our community is a melting pot of cultures, and I cherish the vibrant interactions that come from being a part of such a diverse heritage.
Food is a central part of our culture, and I love sharing traditional Guyanese dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice with family and friends—there’s nothing quite like the aroma of a Sunday lunch wafting through the house! I take great joy in embracing our rich culinary traditions and sharing them with others, especially those in the diaspora who reminisce about home and long for a taste of the familiar.
