Growing up near the Pomeroon River, I've always been surrounded by the beauty of nature and the flavors of our local cuisine. From savoring a plate of pepperpot during the holidays to enjoying a sweet treat of guava cheese, I cherish the culinary delights that connect us to our heritage. I believe these experiences not only define who we are but also strengthen our ties to the wider Guyanese diaspora, where we proudly share our culture with the world.
