Hello! I’m Deodat Bephia, a proud security guard residing on the picturesque Essequibo Coast, right along the West of Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush beauty of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture, community, and the flavors of home. There’s nothing quite like a sweet bowl of pepperpot or a hearty serving of cook-up rice to remind me of family gatherings, where laughter and stories fill the air just as much as the aroma of our traditional dishes.
Having roots in this rich land, I often reflect on the spirit of our people. Whether it's reminiscing about the bustling markets of Parika or the serene sunsets over the Pomeroon River, I feel a strong connection to my homeland. I take pride in sharing these experiences with others, especially those in the diaspora who may long for the sights and sounds of our beloved Guyana.
