Nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, this vibrant area is known for its lush landscapes and rich culture. From the sweet scent of ripe mangoes at the local market to the relaxing sound of the Essequibo River flowing nearby, my surroundings inspire a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and community spirit that enrich our lives here in Guyana.
As a resident of this lovely place, I value the warmth of our Guyanese hospitality and the unique blend of cultures that makes our community special. Growing up enjoying traditional dishes like pepperpot and metemgee, I have developed a passion for sharing our culinary heritage with others. Though many may not realize it, Guyana holds a special place within the Caribbean community while also being part of the South American continent. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
