Growing up surrounded by the bountiful beauty of our natural regions—from the interior savannah to the low coastal plains—has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the land and its resources. I strive to honor our Guyanese heritage by producing fresh, local fruits and vegetables, and sharing the flavors of our culture, from spicy pepperpot to sweet black cake, with everyone around me.
