Hello! My name is Deonarine Narine, and I'm a carpenter hailing from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically the 29 Housing Scheme in Jib, Pomeroon-Supenaam. With a passion for woodworking that runs deep in my roots, I take pride in crafting furniture and structures that reflect the rich heritage of my homeland. In addition to my work, I cherish the flavors of Guyanese cuisine, often reminiscing about the delicious meals prepared with love in our households, like the ever-popular cook-up rice or pepper pot during special occasions. Whenever I visit Brooklyn, I can’t resist stopping by Golden Palace Trini Chinese Food or enjoying some authentic Guyanese dishes with friends. It feels like a slice of home, no matter where I am.
