Hello! I’m Derek Rebai, a proud Guyanese, born and raised in the serene Pom River Little Red Village in Siriki, Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a Jetman, I’ve had the opportunity to embrace the skies while staying deeply connected to my roots. Guyana, with its lush landscapes and vibrant culture, has shaped my perspective on life and work. I often reminisce about the days spent enjoying our local delicacies, from pepperpot to roti, and I can’t help but feel a sense of pride whenever I share these flavors with friends and family, especially those in the diaspora who miss our home-cooked meals. 🇬🇾
In my community, we know that every challenge also brings opportunity. Like many Guyanese, I believe in honesty and transparency in all aspects of life, whether in business or personal relationships. I echo the sentiment that "it is what it is," and I approach each day with a mindset geared towards making a positive impact. The strength of our people, especially in times of adversity, is something I carry with me wherever I go.
