Greetings from the heart of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region! My name is Derick Richards, and I am a logger living in the beautiful Pom River area, right bank of Arapiako. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant ecosystems of Guyana, I've developed a deep appreciation for our land's rich resources and the importance of sustainable practices. Logging isn't just my job; it’s my way of contributing to my community while respecting the balance of nature that our ancestors have cherished for generations.
Being a Guyanese also means embracing our diverse culture.
