Hello! I’m Devika Karanjeet, a proud resident of the beautiful Regina Essequibo Coast, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the rich flora and fauna of Guyana, I have deep roots in our vibrant culture, from savoring sumptuous dishes like pepperpot and curry to celebrating our lively festivals such as Mashramani and Diwali with friends and family. The sounds of chutney and soca music often echo in my home, reminding me of the joyous spirit of our people.
As a passionate advocate for our community, I take pride in sharing the unique aspects of Guyanese life, whether it’s the breathtaking views of the Kaieteur Falls or the tranquil beauty of the Pomeroon River.
