Hello! My name is Dhanesh Ragoonauth, and I proudly call the beautiful Essequibo Coast in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the tantalizing flavors of cook-up rice and pepperpot to the breathtaking vistas at Lake Mainstay. I am passionate about sharing the wonders of my homeland with others, whether through local cuisine or tales of our stunning natural beauty.
As a resident here, I often reflect on our unique position in the Caribbean, bordered by Venezuela, Suriname, and Brazil. Our culture is a vibrant mix, influenced by the diverse ethnicities that call Guyana home.
