Hello! I’m Dhaveena Sasepaul, proud resident of the beautiful Pomeroon region in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of our riverside community has deeply influenced my love for the rich traditions we hold dear. As a culinary enthusiast, I find great pleasure in preparing authentic Guyanese dishes, especially our beloved curry duck, which is always made with a touch of spice and love. You can often find me experimenting with recipes that highlight the diverse flavors of our culture, whether it’s a hearty pepperpot for Christmas or a refreshing bowl of cook-up rice on a Sunday afternoon.
