Hello! I’m Diaram Boodhoo, a proud rice farmer from the heart of Guyana, residing in Regina Essequibo Coast, just 63 East of Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush fields of rice paddies and the mighty Essequibo River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the rich agricultural traditions that define our culture. As a rice farmer, I’m dedicated to cultivating quality grains that not only sustain our local communities but also connect us to the broader diaspora, where our flavors and heritage are celebrated worldwide.
Being part of a diverse nation, I cherish our unique blend of cultures, from the spicy curries reminiscent of our Indian roots to the sweet treats enjoyed during festivals.
