Hello! My name is Dindeial Deodat, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast home, living in the vibrant Richmond Housing area of Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a dedicated labourer, I work hard to support my family and contribute to my community. Growing up in Guyana, I've been surrounded by the rich culture and natural beauty that our country is known for, from the lush rainforests to the flowing rivers that define our landscape.
Food holds a special place in my heart; nothing beats the taste of a hearty plate of cook-up rice, perfectly seasoned and served with fresh fish or chicken. I cherish the moments spent with family and friends, sharing meals and stories, especially during festive occasions like Mashramani or Diwali when the whole community comes together to celebrate. The joy of connecting with others, whether at the local markets or along the banks of the Pomeroon River, is something I hold dear.
As part of the Guyanese diaspora, I feel a strong connection to my roots, and I value the relationships I've built both here and abroad.
