Hello! I’m Dolecia Stephens, a proud labourer from Lower Pomeroon River Grant Fredericksburg in the beautiful region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant community, where the rhythms of daily life are intertwined with our rich culture and traditions. From sharing a bowl of pepper pot during the holidays to celebrating Mashramani with my friends and family, I cherish every moment spent in the embrace of our local customs.
Living near the scenic Kaiteur Falls, I’m always reminded of the breathtaking beauty that our country offers. Whether it’s a visit to the bustling markets of Georgetown or enjoying the serene landscapes along the Pomeroon River, I find joy in the simple pleasures that Guyana provides. As our nation continues to evolve, especially with the recent developments in oil production, I hold onto hope for a brighter future for all Guyanese, even as we navigate the challenges and changes that come our way.
