Greetings! My name is Doreen Edwards, and I am a devoted pastor based in the vibrant community of Regina Essequibo Coast, nestled along the picturesque Pomeroon River. My heart beats for serving others, whether through my pastoral duties or by engaging with the rich traditions of our Guyanese culture. Growing up, I’ve always cherished the flavors of our local cuisine, from the aromatic pepperpot to the sweet delights of black cake, which remind me of our unique heritage and the warmth of family gatherings.
Living in the Essequibo region has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our beautiful landscapes, like the serene canals winding through Lower Pomeroon and the lush greenery that surrounds us.
