Growing up in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I’ve developed a profound appreciation for the rich cultural heritage that surrounds me, from the aromatic spices that transform our meals—like curry potato, not potato curry, just as we do it here—to the echoes of laughter along the banks of the mighty Pomeroon River.
