The sounds of the Pomeroon River flowing nearby bring back memories of family gatherings and festive occasions, where we celebrate our rich heritage and shared stories. It’s these cultural connections that I cherish, whether I'm sharing a meal with family or reminiscing with fellow Guyanese in the diaspora who also long for the flavors and sights of our beautiful country.
