Hello! My name is Parbatty Hariprasad, and I proudly call the vibrant region of Bank Essequibo Sideline Dam Tushen, located in Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of Guyana, I have a deep appreciation for our culture, from the warm-hearted people to the delicious flavors of our traditional dishes like pepperpot and metemgee. I believe that food is a universal language, and I enjoy sharing our local delicacies with friends and family, whether it's at a festive gathering or a casual evening meal.
As a resident of Guyana, I am passionate about the unique experiences our country has to offer. From the stunning vistas of the Kaieteur Falls to the rich history of our capital city, Georgetown, there's so much to explore. I often engage with the Guyanese diaspora, connecting with individuals who share their fond memories of home, whether it’s reminiscing about attending Stella Mary's Primary School or simply enjoying a chat about our shared experiences. Despite the challenges we face, including the ongoing issues of wealth distribution, I remain optimistic about our country’s future.
