Hello! I’m Gary Germain, a proud labourer hailing from the vibrant community of Bank Essequibo Sideline Dam Tushen, situated in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich biodiversity of our country, I've developed a deep appreciation for our unique heritage. Whether it's enjoying a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or sharing stories of the majestic Kaieteur Falls, my roots are firmly planted in the heart of this incredible land.
Living in Guyana allows me to experience the warmth of our people and the rhythm of our culture. From the lively sounds of the marketplace to the serene beauty of the Lower Pom River, every moment here is a reminder of the simple joys in life. I often reminisce about days spent fishing in the Pomeroon River or gathering with friends to celebrate Mashramani. As part of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain, from Queens, NYC, to the quiet corners of our homeland, ensuring that our rich traditions live on no matter where we are.
